Basicly every animal featured in this gallery was a lifer for me (first time to see or having taken a picture of in one's life in the wilderness) excluding the Anhinga and the Moorhen, of course.

The Mangroves! They are probably the most complex ecosystem on our planet and they form an awesome characteristic saline woodland or shrubland habitat, called mangrove swamp, mangrove forest or mangal.

A perfect environment for strange birds and reptiles and I want to encourage everyone who will have the opportunity to visit one ot these phenomenal areas.
