TNNT - stands for " The Nuthatch Nature Trail" which is located in Glenmore, Kelowna, BC, Canada. At some point, after having visited a lot nature sanctuaries, I thought that it would nice to have a private area for photography and nature observations. So I set up a little walking trail, put up some outdoor furniture and established a few feeding stations and waterholes.
The winged and furred visitors arrived almost immediately, including three species of nuthatches, the namegivers for this project.

I must thank my mother-in-law, who allowed me to use part of her land and my wife, Mirjam, who sponsored the furniture.

If you wish to visit TNNT for wildlife watching or photography, please phone 250-300 1362 to book a guided tour. The trail is open from April to November, admission by a small donation. With luck up to 40 species of birds, mammals and reptiles can be found here.

This gallery shows regular visitors and surprise guests at TNNT.
